We got a lot of new brands! I’ve always been eager to try!
This week I was given a riddle by Willow Creek Press
I’ve never heard much about this company. They are primarily publishers, specializing in books, calendars, and puzzle games. There’s not much about them in the puzzle groups, so I’m glad there’s a chance to try once.
They have a lot of pictures. I’ve seen some beautiful artistic images that remind me of European images. They have image puzzles of the White Mountain. They also have contemporary images that remind me of Heye. I think they have something for people, that’s a good thing.
Notice, I’m usually a 1,000-piece puzzle girl. What I got was 500 pieces, so I’m not sure how they compare. Here’s my choice: open the door.

The box is simple. I find it odd that the name Willow Creek isn’t in the box. When I went to the warehouse yesterday, I saw the name on the 1,000-piece box. That’s weird. I don’t know why.
These pieces are in a thick plastic bag. No posters, but the image on the front is enough for me. The pieces are strong and sure. And they’re very large in unusual form. I’m not sure the 1000-piece puzzles are the same size, but from the images I found online, they’re also bigger than medium and random forms. There are quite a lot of puzzles about my first kind of dust, but that’s not really the issue. Some of the pieces are cut very poorly and still stick together, but again, not the real problem. When completed, some pieces were not flat. Still not a big deal, but not something we see in higher brands.

The image is clear and bright. Colors are vivid, and it’s fun to put this puzzle together. It took me hours to complete, so it was a good way to spend the afternoon.

This is a respectable brand. Everyone has pictures. The pieces together are good with no wrong matches. And, if you’re a person who likes interesting cuts and is bored with the usual pieces of net, you’re really going to like this brand.
