Recently, I wrote about Ravensburger’s abandonment. I finished the Vacancy Hotel. It’s dark and satisfying!

Next I’ll be a department store, but my plan changed and I ended up doing Glomy Market.

As far as I’m concerned, I prefer this to the hotel. It’s lighter, and it’s not as scary.Gloomy Carnival Puzzle

Like all the Ravensburger puzzles, the quality is great. The pieces are hard and fit. A little trouble. Unfortunately, there’s no poster, and the image’s a little fuzzy on the box. No problem, this is standard with most offers from this brand. Have I ever mentioned that I love blue boxes in this series? I heard some retailers bought these with a white box. That would make me sad!

I think this image is even more bleak (as it’s called) and sader than a ghost. There was no ghost child hiding in the image, and there was some light in the sky. This picture reminds one of the ways things used to be, better time and childhood anniversary. So yes, abandoned.

There are many colors in this puzzle. After I made the edges, I started to sort the pieces with the words. I always do that because these pieces are easy to spot. The next is the sky and the wheel of Ferris because it is easy to put pink colors from the sky and colors from the seats on the wheel. I was stuck in the next place until I saw the vertical columns holding the horses and arranging all these pieces. I split up the parts of you spinning in vertical lines and worked around them. Then I filled out the rest. The green leaf was my biggest challenge.

I knew the description of the riddle: “A part of this puzzle competition will certainly appeal to the imagination of any horror fan and surprise people! This was not like the others to me — except for the clown on the wall, which was worse than being frightening. And I’m a chicken, so I’ll do two of the next day.

This film also helped me realize that there aren’t many scary puzzles out there. The film was unique because it marketed itself for a more sad audience. Most puzzles are fun. We see a lot of landscapes, flowers and food. We rarely see clowns, ghosts, and images meaning to stir up a dark mood. I really appreciate that, and I welcome the creation of this collection. It’s always good to do something unusual.

The Vacancy Hotel has more challenge and darker than Glomy Festival. This is more sad and sader. Which do you prefer? I welcome your response in this series.
